Dude, I was hanging out with one of my pledges tonight when she was like, "Your bf seems really obedient." Errr ... is that a nice way of saying he's whipped? I'm confused. I don't think he is. :T

I'm excited. They are having a kettle corn booth on campus all week long. Hee!

This week are the interviews for my pledges to determine whether or not they cross over. They're all so cute and nervous about it. Haha. But ... I've gotten quite a few compliments on how great my pledge class is, so I'm not too worried. A few might slip through the cracks, but for the most part, I think everyone will pass. Unless there's some deep dark secret I don't know about.

Oh man. This weekend has been sooooo long. It's been super APO weekend. Friday was the beach bonfire, then I had to wake up at 4am the next morning to go to San Luis Obispo for the Section 1 Conference. The conference was so fun! I got to meet a lot of people from different chapters, and I got a lot of networking done for next semester. I was really impressed with the breadth and strength of the other chapters' programs, and now I have so many ideas bubbling around in my head about how to improve our own programs!

One of the guys there looked my my ex bf. Not so much if you looked from the front of the face, but the profile was remarkably similar. It was creepy ... a little disturbing. I asked Eva if she saw the similarity too, and she said a little bit. Maybe she was trying to be nice. I dunno. Hee. But I swear he really did.

It was really great being around so many different chapters. This was a very good learning experience for me. They are just so enthusiastic about what they do; their organizational culture is a lot different from ours. I kinda like it. I feel energized again and poised on the brink of something big ... Oddly enough, I have now seen what these other chapters are like, and I am motivated to achieve that level of spirit at my chapter. ***The passion and the insanity have begun again.*** Who would have ever known that this would be the spark?

Today (Sunday) was the MS Walk. Woke up at 6am. Aiya. Passed out food (lunch for walkers at the finish line). They had balloon arches and little balloon pillars all over the place. We carried them off when we left. It was so funny! We must have looked really strange crossing the street and walking across campus with them. We had one giant balloon arch, 1 mini arch, and 3 pillars. Hee. Good times. We must have been crazy. Our president is away this weekend, but we delivered a balloon arch to her apartment to greet her when she comes home. Haha. Cuz we luuuuvvvvv her, right Eva???
