Dude, I ordered like ... $20 worth of Thai food last night! That's so much food! And it was only Nick and me eating, so now we have lots of leftovers. Hey, I'm not complaining. I don't have to cook for a couple nights! Hehe! :)

Eva and I had a disagreement over APO issues last night. We were having a very heated conversation over AIM, and then everything started happening all at once. People started calling me on the phone, I was supposed to read something for someone that I didn't, Nick came over, I needed to make dinner, I needed to work on a paper and my final website project for my stupid fine arts class ... Argh. It was just one big mess. But Eva and I finally worked things out, so we're cool now. (At least, I think we are!) :)

We had a Board meeting with the new Exec Board last night. You know, I feel discouraged about being President now. It's kind of like I had all these great ideas, but the appropriate officers are not too excited about doing them, so I'm not really sure what to do about that. And then there's been a bunch of stuff going on with different Board members that just leaves me very tired and depressed. I feel somehow like my agenda does not jive with everyone else's, and I feel badly. I mean, I was going to use Fall semester to make some major changes to our organization and give ppl time to reorient themselves. Then, if I was president again in the Spring, I was planning on working on big Projects for our organization. Kind of like building things little by little ... one major point of focus per semester. But people want to do a whole bunch more stuff or less stuff or nothing, so it's frustrating me. Maybe I am a bad President after all. *sigh* It's too early to start getting discouraged! It's not supposed to START out hard in the very beginning. It does not bode well. I came into this really wanting to make some changes and with a vision of what I wanted APO to become under my leadership, and it seems like others do not share those views. Which makes me sad! I was willing at the very beginning to carry through these ideas even if it meant that I would have to do it through the sheer force of my will, but I don't know anymore. I'm just a discouraged, lost President wandering around. Wracked by insecurity ... (Even if I am a feisty SAW!)

So, I have now been officiallly named a "Lethargic SAW (Small Asian Woman)" by one of my professors. Hee. This is what I get for calling myself a SAW on one of my exams. *it comes back to bite me in the ass* But it's ok, since I said it first. I have no beef with it. Hee ... I kinda think it's funny. I'm a Small Asian Woman! Power to being a SAW! (Watch out for us; we may be small, but we're feisty little things. HAHA. :P )

I had a HUGE baking day today. Shannon said I was in the kitchen for four hours. I have now gotten the baking urge out of my system. Heehee. I made cranberry oatmeal muffins and two different kinds of cookies. Boy, I'm tired. Although, I might make banana nut muffins tomorrow night just because I already have all the stuff for them.

Today, I also finished my paper for COMM 301, wrote a cover letter, emailed my resume and cover letter to ten different companies, signed up for a new email address, and took care of some APO stuff. Sheesh. I was telling Shannon that this has been a long day, but it's probably just because I've been so productive and gotten so much done.

Friday was Initiation. It was alright ... the one time I ordered the Vegetarian (pasta) Plate, it turns out worse than the chicken plate. *Usually* the pasta is the best. BUT NOT THIS TIME! Argh. *it comes back to bite me in the ass* Some minor snafus, someone being snarky to me, and my hair style fell down. (I had it in a bun, and the bun fell down because I was running around.) Not the most fun Initation I've been to. It was not bad; it was just alright. I am happy because my Little Sibs all enjoyed my gifts. I guess that's all that matters. :)
