*Drum roll please!* I have *FINALLY* finished my crocheting my twin-sized blanket. Sheesh. And it only took 4 1/2 months to do it! WHOAH! :D

I think my fish Elfroy is manic depressive. SERIOUSLY. Some days, he's really, really frisky and energetic to the point of being just plain scary, and other days, he just lies there the whole day and sucks at bubbles from the air filter. It's so depressing to watch when he's depressed.

Now that I have finished making my blanket, my next project is mending my clothes. Hee. I'm going through one of those "clothes need mending" phases again. Last time I went through a phase like this, Nick made fun of me for having hole-y clothes. >:) I've been putting it off, but since I'm at home and have nothing else to do anyway, might as well fix my clothes. And then there's still that blue blouse that I need to find a replacement button for. I lost the original button. I might just have to change all the buttons on there so they'll match because I don't think I can just go and find some random blue button from somewhere and have it match.

I've been crocheting like mad. (Crocheting is a little bit like knitting, for those of you who don't know what that is.) I don't have anything else to do, so I sit at home all day and crochet. I'm currently finishing up a blanket. I think for my next project, I want to make a cardinal and gold blanket for Nick, but I'm not sure if that is too girly. What do you guys think? I mean, it's school colors, but it might be too girly with the red and everything. Hmm. Maybe I'll just make it and if he doesn't like it, I'll just keep it for myself. Sheesh. I feel like a seventy-year-old woman.

Sheesh. I don't check Mimi's blog for a couple days, and I find out later that she came down with a SARS-like illness! I'm so out of the loop! Damn dial-up! I'm going through Ethernet withdrawals.

Vegetating at home. Still internship searching. I emailed about 30 companies, and I got about 4 responses back for interviews, but I couldn't go to two of them because of transportation issues and whatnot. Ms. Thurber said that's not a bad response rate. She said it's pretty good considering that a 3% response rate is supposed to be *phenomenal*. Hee.

Speaking of Ms. Thurber, I've been to see her a lot since I've been back. It's been nice catching up with her, since I haven't seen her since last year at around this time. (She went off and got married! :O ) She told me she has dreams of me being a novelist. Hee. I don't think Nick would like that so much. I'd probably just write about HIM all the time.
