I dread going to the gas station. It's very nervewracking. I usually end up looking very stupid and girly, like I don't know what to do (Which I don't!) The first time I went to a gas station, I had problems getting the nozzle to stay in the gas tank refilling hole. It kept falling out! After five minutes of fiddling with the thing, I finally got it to stay. Then I had problems swiping my credit card. I did it maybe 3 times unsuccessfully, and then the screen said the pump had been stopped, and to see the cashier! After another couple of minutes, I finally figured out that I hadn't looked at the picture in the instructions carefully, and therefore, had been swiping my card wrong! Humph.

The second time I went to the gas station, I parked a little too far away from the pump. But by the time I realized that, I'd already opened the cover, unscrewed the cap, and swiped my card. So I couldn't really move my car forward a bit. So I had to pull the nozzle over, and make it stretch in order to reach my car. I was scared it'd fall out of something because it was stretched, so I held on to it the whole time just in case.

Today was my third time at the gas station. There was a gas station attendant cleaning something or doing something near my car, and I was having problems putting the nozzle in. He came over and asked if I needed help. Then he wandered away a little after helping me put the nozzle in and start pumping gas into the car. So it got done pumping, and I took it out and had problems putting it back into the holder. He saw me and came back to help. Sheesh. I felt really stupid that I couldn't do it myself. Sigh.

My sister lost my TI-89! Grrrrr ...

Sheesh. Kaiser is so exceedingly corporate. There's a big long process to get hired. I went in yesterday to fill out paperwork, and AGAIN today to finish the rest of my paperwork. I also started the first part of my health screening today, and it will be finished next week. I got a TB shot, and blood drawn. Ugh. I have holes in my arms. I hope I don't have a big bruise on my arm from the blood-taking. Last time I had my blood taken, I had a bruise for two weeks afterward!
