I hope all this health screening stuff gets done soon. I've been very stressed about this and the whole hiring process for the last three weeks. *sigh* Even though I know I haven't done anything criminal, I still worry about my background check. Kinda like, "What if they find something that I did not even know was there or that I'd done?" Or what if there's something so inconsequential that I did not even know they cared about? Hmm. I don't think I have anything to hide ...
Then there's this whole health screening thing which has me very, very stressed. What if they find out I have some sort of disease I never even knew I had in the first place?! *argh* (Although, I suppose it's better than suddenly and mysteriously dying. :p )

Stupid Blogger. They just changed their edit posts page, and I accidentally erased everything I'd written before because I pushed the wrong button! Argh. Yesterday I thought of so many things to post about, but Blogger was down because they were migrating all the blogspots. Argh.
So yesterday, I had to go get my second TB shot. I decided to take a different route from the one I normally take because I didn't like one of the streets on the original route. Anyway, I turned onto a street that I *thought* was supposed to cross a street that I needed to get onto later. Except the street didn't run straight! It kept twisting and turning all over the place, and then it became another street. As if that weren't already bad enough, the street broke off after a while! I almost got on the freeway accidentally because I was in the wrong lane when the street broke off. So there I was in the middle of the stupid city, lost and driving around trying to find the street I *thought* I'd turned onto. A mile or two away, I finally found the other half of the street that had broken off. Sheesh. Why don't streets run straight?!

It's a good thing my headlights turn off automatically once I take the key out of the ignition. I keep forgetting to turn them off on my own.

It occurred to me that the last comment in my last post might make me seem anti-social. I'm not really. (Just ask Mimi!) I just get annoyed when people interrupt my reading. It breaks my concentration. >:(
Yesterday, Nick's roommate called me "a living, breathing, real-life Kewpie doll." Should I be insulted or complimented? (In context, he was saying it in annoyance to me insisting that I am not able to naturally pull off a "menacing smile.") And what the hell is a Kewpie doll anyway?!

Hmm. It appears that I am not the only one who encounters problems at the gas station. That's comforting to know. :)
I just got a pair of new glasses. They look pretty much like the old ones did: silver rimmed. But it was about time to change them anyway, since I've had the old ones since I was in eighth grade. :o
I think I might have to buy a suit for work. Hmm.
So at work (not at Kaiser, still at school), I eat in the lunch room downstairs. Nobody else ever eats there because everyone eats in their cubicles. (I don't have a cubicle.) There are two or three people who, every time they come into the room to use the sink or get coffee, start talking to me! Argh. It's so annoying. If I wanted to talk to people, I would not be reading a book. These aren't even people in my department! They're just random other people that I've never even met who work in the same building. Sheesh.
