Yesterday, went to go pick up my last paycheck from KP. Also went home to pick up some stuff. Took Nick to a Chinese fast food place for lunch which was Panda Express-esque, but minus the Americanized Chinese food. This place was owned by (I think) Taiwanese people, and they made more authentic Chinese dishes. Nick was all a-goggle at the sight because they had a lot of different choices to choose from. And you know what he chose? Two things of chicken. Differently cooked, of course. Hee. It amused me very much. He got salted smoked chicken and chicken wings. :) What a cutie.

Received a cute Stitch doll from Nick. Awww. He bought it in Idaho and brought it all the way down here to me. Hehe. As if he didn't have enough to pack already. :D

Must start putting together APO crap. Grrr. Too lazy. I have all these APO people coming up to me now and asking me when stuff's going to happen, and I'm like, "Uhhh ... I dunno!" Grrr. Grrrr.

Well, spent yesterday moving some of my most basic stuff into my apartment. Filled up the car once and decided to only make one trip instead of driving back and forth all day long. Man, moving in all by yourself sucks ass. I guess I never truly appreciated having someone else help me, even if it was my mom (who doesn't really carry anything very heavy). I had to lug all my crap up from the parking garage and up to my apartment. Computer is damned heavy.

See, the whole day yesterday just started out badly. The night before Move-In Day, I tried to fill up my trunk with stuff, since no one can see what's in the trunk anyway. I figured that way, I'd have less things to carry to the car the next morning. But I couldn't pack my trunk the night before because when I tried, my parents yelled at me about it and told me to do it in the morning. So the morning of Move-In Day, I began packing the car around 7:30. There I was, busting my butt moving all the stuff into the car, and my mom was running around TOTALLY stressing me out asking me questions like "Why are you taking that?" "Don't take that!" "Take only the most basic stuff; you can always come home on weekends and get the rest!" ARGH. I didn't even leave my house until 9:30! When I finally got to school, the parking garage gate to my apartment was closed, which was weird because all the gates are usually open on Move-In Day. So I tried swiping my card for access to the parking garage, since I'd purchased a permit for it anyway. AND IT DIDN'T OPEN!!! I was SO pissed. I had to back out of the entrance onto a busy street (where, incidentally, they were doing construction) and look for parking on the street. I had to park two blocks away at a metered parking spot, and walk all the way back to the registration area. I swear, I thought my car was going to get stolen or broken into because it was sitting out on the street with all my electronics hanging out in the backseat. To add to that, it was HOT. So by the time I got down to the registration area, I was super pissed and in a you-better-damn-well-fix-this-shit mood. Then on my way back to the car, I was looking all mad and hot and sweaty, and I thought to myself, "You know, this would be a really bad moment for Nick and family to drive past me and see me walking on the street." And what do you know? Just as that thought crossed my mind, I saw a blue van turning into the street that I was on the corner of. And just as "Damn it!" crossed my mind, I looked at the license plate to make sure it was the right car, and it said "IDAHO". Complete with Nick and family waving at me out of the car. Grrrr. Terrible timing.

Today, spent all day with Nick. Took him to an interview in Van Nuys (using only surface streets). Hung out for a bit. Took an afternoon nap together. All in all, a pretty good day. :)

Damn it! $90 at Walmart today. Sigh. That place will bankrupt me ... which is exceptionally sad because most things are so cheap there.

Lots of packing to do tomorrow. Boo! Also have to go and buy pretty clothes. Hee.

Went out with Meems and Eva today to Souplantation. Was fun. I think I might have scared Mimi with my driving. :T

I'm so excited; Nick is coming back soon! Hehe.
