Kitty's missing. He's been missing ever since he pooped on Caroline's rug last night and Shannon scolded him. We can't find him ANYWHERE!
I think something's wrong with our toilet. Today, it was flushing water that was this weird bloody/rusty color. What's up with that?! Ugh. Now our pipes make funny sounds when the people next door take a shower. I hope our pipes don't burst or something. Sigh.

(after a long silence in the car where the only sound is the radio)
Nick: Why do you taunt me?
Jenny: What are you talking about?
Nick: You taunt me with music! The radio is on, but I can barely hear it!
Jenny: Oh really? I was hearing it fine. Sorry. You can turn it up a little if you want.
Nick: Really? I can do that? You're not one of those anal people that won't let other people touch their radio?
Jenny: *has to think about it first* Uhhh ... well, you can tell me you're going to do it first. Otherwise, all I'll see is a hand reaching for the radio knob, and you'll startle me. I might drive off the road or something, you know.
Nick: *rolls his eyes* Yeah, whatever. So I really can touch the radio?
Jenny: As long as you tell me first before you do it! I just don't want it to be too loud because then I won't be able to hear sirens. I'm paranoid about that.
Nick: Good. I guess I do get some privileges above other people because I'm your co-pilot ... Hehe. *immediately reaches over to turn up the volume on radio*

Success! Am now an intern for American Diabetes Association. Hee. Great! No more searching and stressing out!
It's so funny. One of my former pledges thought she heard my name on KIIS FM today, so she left me THREE messages on my machine to tell me to call them back within thirty minutes so I could claim my prize money. Random. What a sweetheart though! I don't think it was me. I didn't enter any contests.

Jealousy! I think Nick's ex-gf has a sixth sense when I am over at his place. (Or she has really horrible timing.) He swears the only times she IMs him is when I am somehow there visiting him. He says I'm like some sort of charm that draws her to IM him randomly at all the wrong times. Hehe. So the other night, Nick and I were hanging out, and she IMs him and starts talking to him. Which, you know, is whatever because she is there and I am here and I am the one he wants. I mean, it's weird that they are still friends (or, at least, she tries to be, and he avoids her whenever possible) but not completely ding-batted, since there are plenty of ex-couples that remain cool with each other. Then she starts talking to him about me and says, "So are you still with ummm ... you know ... (next line) what's her name again?" The next couple questions in this conversation become:
1.) "So why are you still with her?"
2.) "Do you think you guys will get married one day, or is it not that type of relationship?" (implying a fling?!)(of almost two years!)
3.) "Why aren't you still with me?"
4.) "Do you love her?"
Honest to goodness. I swear those were the questions. Kinda left me all flabbergasted and mouth-wide-open reading the computer screen while Nick was answering her questions and trying to get rid of her. Sheesh. All the while, she keeps talking about her supposed "bf," whom she thinks will propose to her over X-mas break. Hmm. A bit shady, I think. I mean, talking to your ex-bf about current bf "lalala-current-bf-this," "lalala-current-bf-that" is a little weird. I told Nick I was going to roll over laughing on the ground if her bf doesn't propose to her when she thinks he will. That's like three months away! How can you predict something like that that far ahead, unless the guy talked to your sister about your ring size or something, and your sister blabbed to you? Dude, messed up. I will LAUGH MY HEAD OFF. Seriously.

I am having merlot, and it is kicking my ass. It's like drinking Nyquil. It burns my sinuses when I breathe too hard while or directly after swallowing. Although, I must admit, I do like the aftertaste.

Things that made tonight's BBQ disastrous:
1.) not knowing how to BBQ
2.) Nick being sunburnt and not being able to help me BBQ
3.) no matches
4.) being squeamish about the cleanliness of the BBQ grill
5.) no cheese
6.) forgetting other people actually eat veggies in their burgers (no lettuce, no tomatoes, no onions)
7.) no cutting board or knife to prepare veggies once I ran off to supermarket and got back
8.) no pickles
9.) no salad bowl for salad
10.) unoperational lights in the courtyard by BBQ grills
11.) calling DPS and Housing Maintenance to whale on them to turn on the courtyard lights
12.) cooking meats by flashlight
13.) lights coming on only AFTER meats were cooked

Pisey: but i thought you're afraid of dogs
Jenny: well, i'm just not used to them
Jenny: so i'm scared they'll bite me
Pisey: oh ... hehe
Pisey: they wont bite you....most dogs are nice
Pisey: just don't go near any dogs that bark as it sees you approaching
Jenny: i'm determined that i like dogs. i mean, i HAVE to. I'm a dog in chinese astrological sign.
Jenny: whoever heard of a dog who doesn't like dogs?
Pisey: haha

Roommates adopted a cat from animal shelter today. It's four months old, black and white, with a black spot on its face. The whiskers are really long! A little apprehensive about having a pet, but hopefully, everything will be ok.
Realization of the day: Boy dogs have nipples too! :O How shocking! Can't say I ever thought too much about it until I saw a dog at the animal shelter today with nipples and testicles and was totally confused about whether it was a boy or girl dog. Haha. I'm so clueless about pets.
