Nick bought me a chocolate rose yesterday for no reason. I guess just to be nice. But I felt really bad about it because I immediately thought he'd done something wrong that he was trying to to atone for before I found out about it. Hehe.

Took my GREs today. Sucked. *sigh* Actually did worse in Verbal than in Math, which was VERY strange. That has never happened to me before with any standardized test. Usually I kick butt at Verbal. Maybe I was in an off-mode today?

I went to watch Kill Bill again tonight. Not as entertaining as the first time. Of course, it could have had something to do with the fact that I went with a group of boys, and they acted like stereotypical black people in a theater (read: LOUD and ANNOYING). Was kind of embaressed to be sitting there in the midst of them.

Oh damn, I just looked at Mimi's website again, and I realized that most of the pictures she has of me are pretty ugly! Mimi, you have to take prettier pictures of me! Hehehe. j/k. (I don't look bad, per say ... just kinda ... not very cute.)

1.) Blush: "What?! Jenny drinks? Since when?"
Pisey: "Uhhh ... yeah, she's drinking every time I talk to her over IM!"
Blush: "How come nobody ever knows about this?!"
Jenny (with a snobbish sniff): "That's because I prefer to drink in the privacy of my own home!"
**everyone in the room laughs racuously**
Lee: "That's what alcoholics say! Only alcoholics like drinking by themselves!"
2.) "Damn, I have an incredible urge to be homey and bake or craft or crochet or something."
3.) "Low-riding pants make my ass look dumpy."
4.) "Huh? Oh shit, I have to study for my GREs on Saturday!"
5.) People looked at me strange today when I told Blush she should try fuzzy navels on her birthday bash. HELL-O, not everyone drinks beer! Ugh. I have a weakness for peach schnapps, I will admit.

Went and yelled at people in Topping today for being so incompetent. Cancelling our fundraising table with such short notice is total bullshit. If they're going to do it, they should at least do it far in advance so organizations can plan accordingly. Grr. And then, don't cancel our fundraiser on stupid "Homecoming events only" grounds and let me walk on campus to see other tables on Trousdale that don't have anything to do with Homecoming either! That's so ridiculous. People at Topping got an earful, let me tell you.

Studying for my GREs. Oh damn. I forgot all my math. Sigh. At least there's no trig or calc on it. But math is still a bitch. Sigh. This is why I am a Comm major, y'all ... so's I can avoid the math!

Let me just start by saying that I HATE cheapass people. Which is not to say that I hate cheap people, since sometimes I am really cheap myself because I'm poor, as I'm sure lots of college people are too. (The 99 cents store is one of my favorite places because everything's a dollar!) I'm talking about people that are just so excessively cheapass. I mean, really, do they not see the way people react? There is just a certain degree of cheapness that is ok, and then the uber-cheap is really, really annoying. I have met a couple people like this recently, and it bugs the hell out of me.

Also the concept of "FREE." Why do people feellike they can complain about free stuff? Who the hell cares? YOU GOT IT FOR FREE! Need I say more? It's not like it cost you any money, time or effort for free stuff, so what the hell should you be complaining about the the free stuff does not meet expectations?

I have a non-stick frying pan. My roommates and I had done a pretty good job of not stratching up the Teflon non-stick coating. Then I took the pan with me on the retreat, and someone made eggs with a metal spatula in my non-stick frying pan before I noticed and told them to use a platic spatula instead. Grrr. Now there's scratches in my frying pan. Grrr. But I think it will be ok. They shouldn't get any worse, since Caroline and Shannon have been careful so far. It's just annoying that we'd kept it unscratched for so long, and it got all scratched up all of a sudden when I took it with me somewhere.

Stefan informed me that I don't do anything for fun. For recreation, I mean. I do believe he has a point. Hmm. I used to crochet, but I haven't lately. Same with baking. I've been so busy lately ... I just haven't done anything fun. He's right; I should go out and do something fun. Blush's birthday bash is this upcoming Saturday! Whee! I'll go out and have some fun with the girls after taking my GREs. Hehe.
