So last night was Initiation. It was fun! Nick finally got to meet the people I've been talking about all semester that he didn't meet before, and it was just a fun time. Everyone liked my caramel chex mix. I wore a strapless black dress with sequins diagonally arranged on it and a feather boa on the chest. It was very cute. :)

i built it for a project, so don't get too excited. i made all the pictures myself, so if they look all ghetto, please forgive their clumsiness. i was told that they were cute, but i'm still self-conscious. hehe. perhaps later i shall build a personal website. i'm just really lazy. and let's not forget, paranoid. paranoid someone is going to stalk me on the net.

i stayed up until 3 in the morning last night baking. serious. we needed more stuff for the bake sale, so i baked and baked and baked. 3 in the morning! sheesh. i made SEVEN batches of chex mix last night. whew.

yesterday, when i went to pick up the presents for initiation, i got lost four times! three times on my way there and once on my way home. mapquest misled me. boo!

today i told my friend sarah that my thought of the day was that all my friends needed to start having kids so i could make cute little kid things like hats and blankets for them. awwww ...

Oh wow. I haven't written in here for about a month. I guess I've been too busy with everything. Or maybe it's lazy. In any case, a long time since my last update. Been busy. Things have been mediocre. Not too great, not too bad. The semester is about to end, so I am happy, although that also means all my final projects are due in the next two weeks. So, lots of stress the next couple of weeks.

Busy making sure everything is set for Initiation.

Got to see and talk to Meems this weekend. Was good. Is always good to talk to Meems about stuff. She always puts things into perspective for me. I came to a decision this weekend, and I think I am happy with it.

I decided not to run for a second semester as president. I'm tired of people treating me like crap because they think they can because I'm president. I'm just not happy doing this stuff any more, and that is when you know you need out. When you no longer enjoy something, it is time to move on. So, this is the end of one chapter and the start of another. I was having doubts in my mind and was wavering toward just running again on faith that the spring semester is easier to deal with than the fall semester. Some twisted sense of duty. Talking to Meems made me realize that everything will be ok, and I should do what I need to do and let everything else run its course. So, I will have a little faith in the unknown and hope that this change in my life will be for the better.
