Last night Nick and I went to the Saddle Ranch bar with some of his film classmates. And I have come to the conclusion that bars are rather boring places to be unless your only goal is to get smashingly drunk. Because otherwise, you end up just standing there pointlessly for most of the night. Anyway, it was interesting to finally meet some of his film friends. They talked about films and film-related things the whole night. He is very excited about his newfound film friends (he's never really had any film friends to hang out with), so I am trying to be supportive by going with him to things. But honestly, all they do is go out to bars, which is not a very exciting activity for me, especially since I am driving and can't really have more than one drink, if any. Well, whatever. I am determined to be a supportive girlfriend, since he came to a lot of my APO things in the past, which I'm sure he didn't really enjoy either, but came anyway because he wanted to be supportive. Cuz, damn it, I can't let him be the more supportive one in this relationship! Oh, and I also got to meet Wendy, who is apparently, the "hot girl" of the class whom all the guys hit on when they go out. I must admit, she is very cute and pretty. Hmm. At least now I know what the competition looks like. Hehe. And in truth, she did get hit on a lot last night. The funniest thing about it is that she has a boyfriend, and everyone knows it. And they still hit on her. Haha.

Nick went to Vegas with Stefan this weekend, so I guess I'm watching Survivor alone tonight. Boo! Lex, you stupid ass ... Why didn't you just run off about the whole talk with Rob and try to get people to vote for someone else?! I hope Rob or Amber get voted off tonight, because things are not exciting anymore. Rob's too cocky about his power; I hope someone has the guts to turn against him and have everyone vote him out. I hope Rupert wins immunity and then tries to oust Rob. That would make my night.

Oh my God, strawberry cream pie is the yum. I mean, I don't really like strawberries (I think they're just ok), and I don't particularly like pie, but Nick and I bought a strawberry cream pie from House of Pies the other night (one of those midnight spontaneous things where you're like ... "I feel like .... pie!"), and it has been excellent. Wow, that was a long sentence.

Hmmm. It's kind of strange. Lots of people around me are sad about graduating and leaving. I'm not feeling like that quite yet. I don't really know why, but I'm not particularly sad about it. I mean, I will miss my friends who are moving away, but that is the extent of my sadness. Perhaps it is because I know I am staying here for another two years, so this graduating thing does not seem like an end to my college journey, but rather, like a pit stop. Hmm. Maybe I will feel more sad as the time passes.

So, I was watching Trading Spaces the other day, and I decided that when I get my own house ... I want a carpentry shed in the back! OMG, how cool would that be?! It would be awesome to build my own furniture according to my interior design needs. And then, whenever I tired of the stuff, I could tear it apart and build new pieces of furniture! Speaking of interior design, I'm very excited to be having my own apartment next year. I have all sorts of ideas for it already. I was thinking about doing something tiki/island-themed, because I like the color scheme that would use. It's too bad Sarah is going home the day after graduation; otherwise, we could decorate my apartment together. I think of Sarah as my fun interior designer/housewares expert friend. Hehe. But we might get a chance to go over to IKEA sometime during finals week or something. Yay! There is much IKEA love in my heart. Hee.

Today I was eating Pepperidge Farm Chocolate Chunk Cookies when I asked myself, "Why did I buy this?!" Not because it tasted bad or anything. (In fact, it tasted quite heavenly.) Because I realized that: 1.) Even though I bought them at Walmart, I paid, like, $2 for 8 cookies, and 2.) I could have made the same cookies myself for free! Isn't that such a sad thought process?! I'm so lame, I know ...

Oh, how I want to cry in frustration about my ICTs class. It's endlessly long, and I do not understand the thought process our professor wants us to put into our projects. It does not make much sense to me.

Went to watch Ladykillers on Friday night with Nick. It was very funny, in a corny kind of way. I was very excited because I didn't get motion-sickness from watching it. Whoopee!

Been making coasters all weekend for my art project.
