Whoa. I am wondering if I should sign up for this GMail thing from Google. It sounds kind of cool, but they are still in the beta version of the whole software-creation process, so I don't want to switch over and be screwed later if they decide to change or scrap it.
I am beginning to realize more and more that I am probably not going to see Nick on Graduation Day because we are at different parts of the alphabet and we have different satellite ceremonies in different locations after the main ceremony. Also, our families will be around, so we will be obligated to spend time with them when they are here. It makes me a little sad because he is an important (although sometimes exasperating, I will admit) part of my life, and I would like to share this day with him. We probably won't be able to even take a picture together with all our graduation regalia on. *sigh* It's weird, but I'm feeling very alone with this whole graduation thing.
On another note, my sister said that my mom might not come to graduation. She overheard my parents talking about it. I mean, I knew that my parents were not really happy about taking the day off of work to come, but still. That's not cool. I mean, sometimes I feel like Nick's, Shannon's and Caroline's families are way more involved with their lives than my parents are in mine, even though their parents live way far away. *sigh* My parents only live twenty minutes away, and they can't take the day off work to come to my graduation! Sheesh. I think I would be less disturbed about this if they lived far away and couldn't come, but since they live so close, this really bothers me. Nick's parents, grandparents, and whoever else (total 8 people) are taking four days to come down here and visit him for graduation. Other people's parents are even throwing them graduation parties and stuff. I think my dad is coming (because he always comes to my educationally-related parent activities), and my sister is also coming (because she wants to skip school). *grrrr*

So the pressure is on now. I have lots of projects due between now and graduation, which I am not very excited about doing. This is the last week of school. OOOOO. Exciting.
I was supposed to go get fitted for my cap and gown on Friday with Nick, but his obnoxious camera-sharing partner made him wait around all afternoon for her to drop it off. Basically, she told him "around noon" and he waited at home until 5 or 6 in the afternoon before deciding that she was not coming after all. How inconsiderate.
Last night we went out to P.F. Chang's for Sarah's bday dinner. After dinner, we decided to get pie, so we drove to Marie Callender's. The waitress there was HORRIBLE. We were at Marie Callender's for an hour and a half waiting for our pie. Sarah ordered a slice of coconut cream pie, and the waitress brought her a slice of boysenberry pie instead. And then, three of us had ordered three WHOLE pies to go, but when she brought us the check, she brought three SLICES of pie to go. We were all like, "Huh?" Seriously, this woman was not cut out to be a waitress. She got every single order at our table wrong. No one actually received what they'd ordered.
Go Thermasilk! My hair is very soft and silky today because I washed it with Thermasilk.
I have a project on global warming and the ozone holes. Gahh. How boring.
